Paid Administrative Leave????
Exactly what is the basis behind paid administrative leave when a police officer has been found guilty of a behavior against the public that was not part of their training or their boss has made a statement that the officer was definitely at fault in the behavior. I’m not referring to an accusation that is now under investigation and you remove the officer with pay, but point blank, blatant obvious wrong doing and the news caster has announced that the officer has been placed on paid administrative leave.
Isn’t paid administrative leave VACATION??? I’d take vacation from work too if I could. Why not dock their pay or not receive any type of pay while they are placed on this leave? If someone has been found guilty of a specific behavior why are they still getting paid even while on leave?
